Q.What is the power supply - how much electricity do the machines use?
All machines can operate on the following power supply, 220/240 volt, 50Hz and 110/120 volt 60Hz. All units can also operate on a 12 volt DC battery. Electricity usage is equivalent to an 80 watt light blub costing a few pence a day.
Q.Can the machine charge more than one phone at once?
Yes, all leads can charge simultaneously and you can talk/talk whist charging.
Q.Will it charge more than one phone for £1?
No each user must pay £1 per charge.
Q.Is the machine PAT tested?
No, PAT testing is not required as the machines run on low voltage and are classed as portable, however we have CE Certification Certificates, see website.
Q.How much money do they hold?
The C-10 holds up £100 and the C-12 and C-18 hold up to £600.
Q.Can the charging wires be changed?
The charging wires can be exchanged like for like. Any upgrade of wires require an engineers support.
Q.Can the machines be wall mounted?
The C-10 and C-12 can be wall mounted, brackets are available to buy separately.
Q.How many adverts will the machine run?
Each machine comes with 120 available slots of which 20 are retained by AD Direct UK for national advertising purposes.
Q.How long are the adverts?
The Adverts are 20 seconds long and appear every 20 mins on a continuous loop.
Q.What format - files are required for adverts?
Jpegs and Mpegs, which can be designed and created at our office in our IT Department and emailed back to you for download onto a memory stick which then is placed into the machines USB port and loaded via a remote control.
Q.Does the machine retain memory if it gets switched off?
Yes all adverts loaded on will still appear.
Q.Is the Charging Machine 'future proof'?
Yes. The charging leads are upgradeable, so as new phone technologies come onto the market, the Charging Machine can be upgraded to accommodate them.
